About me

Get to know me a little better

The story of a photographer

I'm Jess - a photographer of small businesses and independent individuals. Whilst I'm now based in Manchester, I'm a Yorkshire lass at heart and often find myself back in God's own country. It was my northern spirit and love of local makers and creators that led me to this business - I knew the stories behind the products needed to be brought to life.

In September 2024, I finally went self-employed after five years of ‘side hustling’. Although I now work as a photographer, I have 12 years of experience working in publishing & communications, which gives me a unique way of telling both sides of your business story.

When I do put down my camera, I like to take advantage of city living - creating ‘must visit’ brunch spot lists as long as my arm, trawling through vintage clothing finds, and losing myself in the Central Library.

My philosophy

Everyone deserves to tell their story.

Being in front of the camera can be stressful but everyone deserves to feel confident in their craft and have the space to share their passions. My photoshoots are designed with your comfort in mind - just come as you are, and I'll do the rest.
