Ready to learn how to take product photos that sell?

I’ve teamed up with Charlotte of Calico Collective to run a hands-on product photography workshop on 7 October from 10am-2:30pm.

We’ll spend the day in a beautiful studio in Churchgate Mill, Stockport. It’ll be a relaxed, friendly environment, where you can connect with other small business owners and get to grips with taking beautiful images of your products.

Make it

Before we dive into the photography, you’ll join Charlotte of Calico Collective for a creative session to get to know your fellow business owners. You’ll make your own marble homeware item, which could be perfect to use as a prop in your photos (and of course, you’ll take it home after!).

Then it’s onto product photography

You’ll have access to three professionally styled set-ups, tailored around the businesses attending, along with backgrounds and props you can get creative with.

That means you’ll leave with photos you can start using straight away on your website, socials, or shop listings.

What you’ll learn

  • Using natural light

Learn how to use natural light to show your products from their best side (and what to do if you’re shooting in a dark space)

  • Styling

Create a set-up with backgrounds and props. Learn how to play with colours, textures, and how they can complement your products

  • Techniques

Master simple photography techniques you can use at home to update your website, social and marketing product imagery as soon as you leave the workshop!
